Running a place like Nashwa Resturant Lucknow out of Badarpur is a lot of work. We are tucked away on Jaitpur Road, right near Saurabh Vihar. It’s a busy spot, and there is always something going on outside our doors. The kitchen starts early because there is always prep work to do. You learn a lot about what people like to eat when you’re standing behind a counter all day. The street can be dusty and the traffic is usually a nightmare, but once you step inside, it’s all about the smell of the cooking. We don’t have any fancy decorations or a marketing team telling us what to say. We just open the shutters, cook what we know, and hope the customers are satisfied when they leave. It’s a simple life, really. We’ve been at 561/19 for a bit now and the regulars know where to find us. It is just a normal kitchen doing its best.
