We are over at Ganpati Apartments in Dwarka, sitting in unit 532. It’s a typical apartment block in New Delhi 110 075, with lots of families and a bit of a communal vibe. Our office is right inside one of these units, so it doesn't feel like a cold corporate space at all. We have desks pushed against the walls and shelves full of travel guides and old files. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when more than three people are in here, but we make it work. Most of our day is spent on the phone, talking to airlines or checking on hotel bookings for families who want to see something new. Dwarka is a huge area, and Ganpati Apartments is just one small part of it, but we’ve been here long enough that most people know where to find us. We don't have any big neon signs or a polished showroom. It’s just a room with some computers and a printer that occasionally jams when we're in a hurry. We talk to our customers like they're our neighbors because, often, they are. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated travel jargon. If a flight is delayed or a hotel is full, we just say so and try to find another way. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We enjoy the pace of life here, even when the elevators are being fixed and we have to take the stairs to the fifth floor.
