Mukesh Telecom

Mukesh Telecom is a simple mobile shop on the Kalkaji Main Road. We don't have a huge showroom, just a small space packed with everything a phone might need. You’ll find rows of colorful back covers and tempered glass piled up on the shelves. Most of my day is spent hunched over a desk with a magnifying glass, trying to fix a charging port or a broken speaker. The Kalkaji Main Road is always noisy with buses and cars, so the shop stays lively. Customers come in with all sorts of problems. Some just forgot their password, and others have dropped their phone in water. I try my best to fix what I can. I’ve been here long enough that people from the local streets recognize me. We sell a lot of earphones and data cables because people are always losing them. It's not a high-end place with air conditioning that works all the time, but it’s a reliable spot. I keep the doors open so people can just lean in and ask a question. Sometimes I’m working on three phones at once while talking to a customer about a new recharge plan. It’s a lot of multitasking. We don't have any big slogans or marketing plans. We just open the shutters in the morning, do the repairs, and go home in the evening when the traffic finally starts to thin out. It is just honest work in a busy part of town.
