M.T.N.L,Broad-Band Techincal Support Enginner

I am Sunil and I work with Sh Ramesh Chander over in the village of Kharawar. We are the ones people call when their broadband stops working. It is a bit of a tough job because the wires in this area can be quite old. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning. Our base is right here in the V.P.O. area. Most days we are out on our bikes with a ladder and some tools. We spend a lot of time climbing poles or checking the boxes on the street. It’s not glamorous work and we often get quite dirty or sweaty under the sun. People in Kharawar know where we live, so they often just walk up to our door if their internet is slow. We try to help everyone, but sometimes the main line is down and there isn't much we can do except wait for the repair crew. We aren't corporate executives. We are just technical support guys trying to keep the village connected to the web. It’s a lot of responsibility because everyone needs the internet for school or work now. We don't have a big team, just us two handling the whole load. We've been doing this for a long time and we know every corner of this village by now. It’s honest, hard work and we just take it one day at a time.
