M/S Radisson Hotel, New Delhi

Our office is a bit different because we are located in Rajokari, which is a village area right on the edge of New Delhi and Gurgaon. We are set up at Sh Gajraj Singh Yadav’s place. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you are coming from the main city, but it’s very close to the airport. This isn't the big hotel building itself with the lobby and the restaurants. This is more of the back-end side of things. We deal with a lot of the practical stuff that keeps a big hotel like the Radisson running. There’s always a lot of coming and going with staff and deliveries. The area is quite rural in some ways, with narrow lanes and local houses all around. It’s a contrast to the fancy rooms we manage elsewhere. We spend our days looking at schedules, dealing with vendors, and making sure the supplies are where they need to be. It can get pretty chaotic when there’s a big event happening. We don’t wear suits here most of the time; it’s more about being comfortable enough to move around and get things done. We have a small kitchen where we heat up our lunch. It’s a humble place to work from, but it’s where all the real work happens. We often have to coordinate with the main hotel teams through the day. It’s a busy life, but we like the pace and the people we work with.
