Our office is over in Shyam Nagar, near the Chandiwala Estate in Okhla Phase-III. It’s at number 35. This area is pretty industrial, so there’s always trucks and people moving around outside. We focus on consultancy work and marketing, mostly helping other businesses figure out their plans. It’s just a regular office space with desks, some computers, and a lot of files piled up. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets. It isn't the most exciting work to look at from the outside, but it keeps us busy from nine to six every day. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most used thing in the room. We get a mix of clients, some local and some from further out in New Delhi. It can get a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby, so we are always wiping down the windows and the desks. We’ve been in this building for a bit now and we know the other people on the floor. It’s a practical place to work because it’s easy to get to from the main road. We don't have a fancy reception desk, just a couple of chairs if someone shows up for a meeting. We just get on with the work and try to help the businesses that come to us with their questions. Sometimes the internet acts up but we just find something else to do until it's back.
