M/S Cambata Aviation

Our place is located in E-Block, Quarter Number 1114. This is a bit of a different setup because it is a government-style residential area in New Delhi. It is not the kind of place you expect to find aviation-related work, but here we are in this quiet corner. The rooms are small and we have filled them with folders and old equipment. Being in this specific part of the city means it is quiet compared to the main roads. There are trees outside the window and sometimes you can hear the birds more than the traffic. We have been operating out of this quarter for some time now. It is a bit of a walk from the main gate to get to our block, so we usually just stay put once we arrive in the morning. Inside, things are a little cramped because of all the files we have to keep for the records. We use old wooden desks and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. It is a practical space where we focus on the daily tasks at hand. There is no reception desk or fancy lobby for visitors. You just walk in and someone is usually sitting there on a computer or talking on the phone about schedules. It feels like a very old-school way of doing business in Delhi. We keep a small kettle for making chai throughout the day to keep us going.
