We've been here at Village Chowkhandi for quite a while now. Running Alpine Travels & Tours out of this small spot in Tilak Nagar keeps us pretty busy most days. People usually come in looking for help with their train tickets or just trying to figure out where they should go on their next holiday. It is not a fancy corporate office, just a normal place where we sit down with a cup of tea and get things sorted on the computer. The area gets really crowded around the village chowk, but we have gotten used to the noise over the years. Sometimes the phones do not stop ringing and other days it is just neighbors dropping by to ask about bus timings or a quick favor. We handle the paperwork and the bookings so people do not have to struggle with those confusing websites themselves. It is mostly just us making sure the dates line up and the prices are decent for whoever walks through the door at Wz-23. We do not have a massive team, just a few of us who know how the travel business works here in New Delhi. If someone needs a tour organized or a flight booked, they know exactly where to find us. It is just straightforward work. We just try to get the tickets printed and the itineraries set up without making a big fuss or a mess of the schedule.
