Mountain Trails

Our small office is over at G.42 in West Patel Nagar. If you are walking around this part of New Delhi, you might see our sign near the other shops on the block. We don't have a big fancy showroom with gear everywhere. It is mostly just a couple of desks covered in maps and old brochures. We spend most of our time on the phone or answering emails from people who want to go up to the mountains. The area here in West Patel Nagar can be quite noisy with all the scooters zooming past, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been here for a few years, just helping people figure out their travel plans. We don't promise anything crazy; we just tell people what the trails are like based on what we know from our own trips. Sometimes we have people come in just to chat about their last trip or ask about the weather in the north. We keep a pot of tea going most of the afternoon. It is a simple setup, and we like it that way. We aren't a big travel agency with hundreds of employees. It’s just us, trying to stay organized and making sure everyone has their permits and tickets sorted out. We do a lot of paperwork and sometimes it gets a bit boring, but thinking about the hills keeps us going. It's just a local business in the middle of a busy city.
