Moti Mahal Delux

Our place is at 153 Lakshmi Bai Nagar in New Delhi. Most people know Moti Mahal Delux for the food, and this location has been a part of the community for a long time. We aren't a big, cold restaurant chain; we’re more like a local spot where people come when they don't want to cook at home. The kitchen is always busy, and you can usually smell the spices from down the street. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming here for years, sometimes bringing their kids who then grow up and bring their own families. The furniture isn't the newest, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s comfortable. We don't spend much time on marketing or trying to look fancy. We just focus on the recipes that have worked for us for a long time. Lakshmi Bai Nagar is a busy area, and we get a lot of foot traffic. Our staff is mostly made up of people who have been with us for ages. They know how the customers like their meals and which tables they prefer. It can get pretty loud during the dinner rush, but that’s how we like it. We’re just a straightforward eatery trying to serve good food to anyone who walks through the door at 153. There is no magic to it, just keeping the stove hot and the ingredients fresh.
