Moolchand Hospital

Our place is on H-352 in the Punjabi Bazar area of Kotla Mubarak Pur. It is a very busy market in New Delhi. Moolchand Hospital here is not like the giant medical centers you see on the news. We are right in the middle of the shops and the daily crowd. You can smell the street food from the bazaar mixed with the smell of cleaning supplies we use. People walk in all day long with different problems. Some just need a quick check, others are more worried. We have been in this spot for years. The floors are a bit worn down from so many people walking on them. We don't have a fancy waiting room with a TV. People just sit on the benches and wait their turn. It is often noisy outside with the rickshaws and people bargaining for clothes or vegetables. We just focus on the person standing in front of us. Our staff has been here a long time and they know the local families well. We don't do big advertisements. Most people come because they live nearby and know where we are. It is a practical place. We keep the medicine cabinets stocked and make sure the lights are on. Sometimes the paperwork gets backed up, but we catch up eventually. It is just our daily life here.
