Monarch International Travel Services

So we are up here on the second floor in Jagat Ram Park. It is in Laxmi Nagar, right at L-79. If you know Delhi-92, you know how busy the streets get around here every single day. Monarch International Travel Services is just a small place really. I spend most of my day looking at flight schedules and trying to help people get their papers in order for their trips. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow and if the power goes out, it gets quite warm until the backup kicks in. Sometimes the tea man from downstairs brings up a tray and we just sit for five minutes before the phone starts ringing again. We have been in this spot for a while now. You can see the main road from the window but the noise isn't too bad once the glass is shut. People come in looking for trips to places they have only seen in pictures. It is mostly just paperwork and phone calls to be honest. My desk is covered in old files and some pens that don't always work when you need them to. Laxmi Nagar is a loud place but it feels like home to us after all these years. We just keep things moving, one booking at a time, making sure the names are spelled right on the tickets. It is not fancy but it gets the job done for the folks around here.
