Moet'S Restaurant has its roots here at H. No 86 in Sarai Kale Khan. It’s a busy area of Delhi with people always moving towards the station or the bus stand. Our kitchen is usually a bit of a chaotic place, especially during the lunch rush when everyone is hungry and in a hurry. We don't have a perfectly silent dining room; it’s noisy and full of life. The staff has been around for a while, and we all know each other's habits by now. Cooking in Delhi means dealing with the heat, but the smell of the spices makes it worth it. We aren't trying to be a five-star fancy place with tiny portions. We just serve food that we would eat ourselves at home. Sometimes a customer has to wait a bit longer because we ran out of something or the stove is acting up. That’s just reality. We keep the place clean, but it feels like a real lived-in space, not some cold showroom. Being located in Sarai Kale Khan means we see all sorts of people from everywhere. We spend our evenings prepping for the next day, chopping vegetables and making sure the floors are scrubbed. It’s tiring work, but it’s what we know. We don’t have a big marketing team, just our sign outside and the food we put on the plates for whoever walks through our door to eat.
