Modi Group Of Restaurant is based at Ego Restaurant 4 in the Community Centre of New Friends Colony, New Delhi-110025. New Friends Colony is a well-known area and the community centre is always buzzing with life. We have been here at Ego for a long time. It’s a place where people come to eat and talk. The kitchen is always hot and loud. We have a small team of cooks and servers who have been with us for years. It’s not one of those plastic corporate chains. We actually care about the food we put on the plates. The furniture is a bit older now and the floors have seen a lot of feet. But that’s what happens when you have a busy restaurant. We get all sorts of customers, from families to students. Sometimes it gets so crowded you can barely move between the tables. We just keep going. It’s hard work but it’s what we know. The community centre has changed a lot but we are still here in our corner. We don’t go for flashy ads or anything. People find us because they like the vibe. It feels like home to some of the regulars. We start early in the morning to get things ready and stay late until the last person leaves. It’s just how it goes in the restaurant business. We like the noise and the energy of New Delhi. It is just real life for us.
