Mocha Restaurent

Mocha Restaurent is tucked away in Munirka Village at number 139. We are in Kapoor Gali, which can be a bit tricky to find if you are not looking closely for the sign. We are technically C/O Mr Suresh Rathi. It is a small place in the middle of New Delhi. We have got some basic tables and chairs set up for people. It is not one of those big fancy restaurants you see in the shopping malls. It is more like a local spot where people can grab something to eat. We spend a lot of our time in the kitchen. Sometimes it gets quite hot back there, especially in the middle of a summer day. The street outside is usually busy with people walking by or kids playing. We have been here in Munirka for a long time. It feels like a small community even though it is in a big city. We do not have a big menu, just things we know how to make well. Often, you will see us cleaning the floors or prepping vegetables for the next day. We try to keep the place tidy but it is an old building. The walls have a few marks here and there from moving furniture around. We just wanted to have a place where we could work for ourselves. Most of our regulars live right here in the village. They know exactly where Kapoor Gali is. It is a simple life.
