Mobile Zone

Our shop is over in Karol Bagh, specifically near Sarai Rohilla on New Rohtak Road. The address is 9992/1 if you are looking for the exact door. It’s a pretty tight space, but we manage to fit everything in. Mobile Zone has been around this part of town for some time. It’s usually quite a rush in the afternoons when everyone is out doing their errands. We mostly deal with mobile phones and accessories, the usual stuff you’d expect. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but that’s just how it is in this neighborhood. We have a couple of stools for people to sit on while they wait, though they are a bit wobbly now. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't really had the time to get around to it. Most of the time, we are busy testing screens or looking for a specific charger that someone asked for. It’s a lot of manual work, sitting behind the counter. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the block, so we often share tea in the evenings. It’s a decent place to work. You see all sorts of people walking by on New Rohtak Road. Some are just passing through, and some have been coming to us for years. It’s just a normal local business, nothing flashy. We’ve got a small fridge for our water and lunch in the back corner.
