Mobile Corner

Mobile Corner has been operating out of Saraswati Garden at E 20 for quite some years now. It’s a simple setup. We deal with mobile phones and accessories mostly. The shop isn't hard to find if you know the E block well. We have a few glass cases where we keep the items we sell. It’s not some big showroom with carpets and air conditioning running all day; it’s just a practical space where we do our work. We see a lot of the same faces from around the neighborhood. People drop in when their charger stops working or if they want a new cover for their phone. We try to keep things organized, but on busy days, there might be boxes stacked in the corner. That is just part of running a small business like this. We handle the repairs right here on the table. Sometimes a screen takes longer to fix than we thought, so we have to tell the customer to come back the next day. We don't use any fancy systems for tracking things, just a notebook and some blue pens. It works for us and keep things simple. Living and working in Saraswati Garden means we are part of the local routine. We open up in the morning and stay until late evening. There is always someone coming in asking for advice on which phone to buy or how to fix a setting. We just tell them what we know from experience. It's a decent living.
