MK Trading

MK Trading is tucked away in Darya Ganj at 1709 Kuchadhakni Rai. If you know the area, you know how tight the streets are and how many people are always moving around. We’ve been in this old building for many years now. It’s not much to look at from the outside, and the inside is mostly just stacks of boxes and a couple of old desks where we keep our ledgers. We trade in different kinds of goods, depending on what the market is looking for. It’s the kind of place where you have to move three boxes just to get to the one you actually need. We don’t have a big sign or any fancy lights. Our customers usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming here since their fathers were running their shops. Darya Ganj has a lot of history, and we feel like a small part of that. The noise from the street never really stops, but after a while, you just stop hearing it. We aren't interested in being some big corporate entity. We just want to buy and sell our goods fairly and make enough to keep the lights on and the staff paid. It’s a simple life, and although the stairs are steep and the office is cramped, it’s home for us.
