Our spot is in Paschim Vihar, specifically at GH-9/185. It’s a residential block, so it feels more like a home than a stiff office building. We do media work here, which means there are cameras, lights, and wires scattered around more often than not. We started Mirch Media because we wanted a place to be creative without someone breathing down our necks about corporate standards. It’s a small team, and we all end up doing a bit of everything. One day someone is editing video, and the next day they might be answering the door or cleaning the coffee mugs. The light in this apartment is actually pretty good for filming during the day. We spend a lot of time on our computers, sometimes staying way past dark to finish a project. We have a small balcony where we go to get some air when the room gets too stuffy from all the electronics running at once. There’s usually a stack of hard drives on the table and a few empty pizza boxes in the bin from a late-night session. We don't really follow a strict dress code; most of us just show up in jeans and t-shirts. It’s a relaxed environment, but we take the work seriously when we’re in the middle of a project. We are just a bunch of people who like playing with cameras and making videos look right for the people we work for. It’s messy sometimes, but that is part of the process.
