This is the office for the Ministry Of Defence, specifically part of the Integrated Headquarters for the Army. We are located in the South Block in New Delhi-110011. It is a very old and serious building with high ceilings and long hallways. Haridasan Tk works here as a PA within the DC&W section. The atmosphere is pretty quiet and everyone is usually focused on their files and paperwork. It isn't like a regular business where people are coming and going for coffee. We have a lot of protocols to follow and everything has to be done in a certain way. The desks are often piled high with folders and official documents that need to be processed. Working in South Block means you see a lot of security and uniformed personnel every day. It’s a historic place, but for us, it’s just where we come to work every morning. We deal with the administrative side of the defense sector, which involves a lot of typing and filing. The windows look out over some of the most famous parts of Delhi, but most of the time we are just looking at our screens. It is a lot of responsibility, and we try to keep things organized despite the sheer volume of work that comes through this office. There’s a certain rhythm to how things move here, and we just follow the established routines day after day without much change to the pattern.
