We operate out of Mahipalpur, right near Vasant Kunj. The address is K-117 on Street Number 8. It’s a bit of an interesting spot for something like Ministry of Sound. Most people think of the big music scene, but here it’s more about the day-to-day work. The street is typical for Mahipalpur—narrow and always full of some kind of activity or noise. Inside, we have our equipment and desks set up. It’s often quite noisy around here, both from our own testing and the sounds of the neighborhood outside. We deal with a lot of sound setups and planning for different events that happen around the city. Sometimes we are here late into the night because that's just when the work gets done in this industry. It's not a shiny office with glass walls; it's more of a practical space where we can get our hands on the gear. We’ve had some good times here, even when the power goes out or things don't go exactly to plan. Most of us who work here have a background in music or sound, so we speak the same language. We aren't here to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or anything. We just focus on the sound and making sure everything is ready for whenever it's needed next. It’s a lot of cables, speakers, and coffee to keep us going through the long afternoons in the office.
