Mini Childrens Amusement Park

You’ll find the Mini Childrens Amusement Park over by the Kalka Ji Mandir in Kalkaji. It’s an outdoor space where we have different rides and games set up for kids. It’s not a giant theme park like the ones you see in movies, but it’s a place for families to spend some time. We spend a lot of our day checking the equipment and making sure the rides are running right. It gets very dusty out here, so we’re constantly cleaning off the seats and the railings. The area around the Mandir is always crowded with people visiting the temple, so there’s a lot of noise and energy. We see a lot of excited kids and tired parents every day. Some of the machines are a bit old and might squeak a little, but they work fine. We’ve got a small crew of people who look after the tickets and the rides. It’s a lot of work being outside in the sun all day, but we’re used to it. We don't have fancy lights or big shows. It’s just a simple park with some slides and swings. People come here because it’s convenient and right near the temple. We open up in the morning and stay until the crowds thin out at night. It’s a local spot that’s been part of Kalkaji for a while now. We have to keep an eye on the weather, because if it rains, we have to cover everything up quickly.
