Just Chill Water Park

I work at Just Chill Water Park. We are located right on the Main GT Karnal Road in the Jahangirpuri area. It’s a big space compared to the shops nearby. During the summer, it gets incredibly busy here. People come from all over to get away from the Delhi heat. My job involves a bit of everything, from checking the gates to making sure the water is right. Being on GT Karnal Road means there is a lot of traffic passing by all the time. You can hear the trucks and buses even from inside. It’s not a quiet place, especially when the music is playing and people are splashing around. We don't have a polished corporate office. Most of us are just regular people from the local area. We wear our uniforms and try to keep things moving. Sometimes the machines break down or a pipe leaks, and we have to fix it quickly. It’s just how it is. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. It’s a water park in Jahangirpuri. We try to keep the pools clean and the slides working. On weekends, it’s total chaos, but we get through it. When the sun goes down and everyone leaves, it’s finally peaceful. Then we start cleaning up for the next day. It’s a lot of physical work, staying on your feet for hours, but being by the water helps when it's forty degrees outside. We keep the shed locked and head home.
