Fun and Food Village

You’ll find us out on the Old Delhi Gurgaon Road in Kapashera Village. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, especially with the traffic near the border, but we’ve been here for a long time. Fun and Food Village is a big place and it takes a lot of effort just to keep the pools clean and the grass trimmed. We start our shift early, checking the slides and making sure the water pumps are working right. The sun hits this area hard, so we spend a lot of time under the umbrellas or in the small staff rooms. It’s not a polished resort; it’s a place where kids run around screaming and families have picnics on the benches. The paint on some of the rides is peeling a bit from the sun, and we’re always patching something up. We have a small team of guys who handle the tickets and the security at the gate. It gets really loud on the weekends when the buses show up, but during the week, it’s actually kind of quiet. We don’t use fancy software to run things; we mostly just use paper logs and walkie-talkies. Our uniforms are a bit faded, and we’re usually tired by the end of the day. It’s just a local spot where people come to cool off, and we’re the ones making sure everything stays running.
