Minar Travels

You can find Minar Travels over at F/270 in the Lado Sarai DDA Flats in New Delhi. It is a typical government housing area, so the buildings all look similar, and it can be easy to get turned around if you haven’t been here before. We have been operating out of this flat for a while, helping people with their travel plans, mostly booking train tickets or finding bus routes for local trips. The space is filled with old maps and stacks of brochures that have been there for years. We don't use much fancy software, just a basic computer and our own knowledge of how the routes work around the country. People from the surrounding flats often drop by just to ask about prices or to see if there are any new spots they should visit. It feels very local here, and we often spend time chatting with the neighbors while we work. The DDA flats have a lot of trees around, so it stays a bit cooler than the main road, which is nice in the summer. We don't have a big marketing budget or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing where we are and coming back when they need to go somewhere. It’s a simple life, sitting in the office, answering the phone, and helping someone figure out their next journey while the neighborhood goes about its business outside.
