Our office is in Flat No 1C, Block No-B5 of the Dhawalgiri Apartments over in Sector 34, Noida. It’s an apartment building, so it feels more like a home than a typical business office. We’ve lived with the travel business here for quite a while. Minar Travels India Pvt.Ltd takes up most of the space in the flat with desks, printers, and stacks of travel brochures. Working in a residential complex means we know the security guards and the neighbors pretty well. We spend our days answering calls about tours and trying to organize itineraries for people going all over the place. The phone rings a lot, and there’s usually someone typing away at a keyboard in every room. We don’t have a big reception area, just a place for visitors to sit if they come by to pick up their documents. Noida Sector 34 is a decent area, though the traffic nearby can be a bit of a headache during peak hours. We usually have a pot of tea going, and we take turns going out to get snacks. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don’t go in for big speeches or polished presentations. We just focus on the details of the trips we are planning. It’s a busy little office, but we’ve got a good system down and we manage to keep everything moving along without too much fuss or stress.
