You can find us over at D-51 on the Palam Dabri Road, in the Dashrath Puri area. Minar Travels India Pvt Ltd has been operating out of this spot for a while now. The road outside is always noisy with cars and buses going past, so it never really stays quiet in here. We spend most of our time looking at maps and booking tickets for folks who want to see different parts of the country or go abroad. It’s a lot of typing and talking on the phone. The office is pretty simple, with just enough room for us and a couple of visitors. We don't really bother with being all polished or corporate. We just sit here in Dashrath Puri and handle what comes our way. Some days the internet is slow and we all just sit around complaining about it until it comes back on. That is just life in Delhi, I guess. We know the local shopkeepers and the guys who deliver the mail. It’s a regular routine of checking dates and prices. We don't have any big missions or anything like that. We just want to make sure the tickets are right so nobody gets stuck at the airport. It’s a practical kind of job. We like being in this part of town because it feels real and not too fancy.
