Micromax Studio

We’ve been here at D-32 in Lakshmi Nagar for a good while now. It’s right on Vikas Marg, so the traffic outside is always loud. Inside Micromax Studio, it’s a bit quieter though. We mostly spend our time taking passport photos or helping people get old pictures printed out from their phones. Sometimes the printer acts up and we have to fix it while someone waits. That’s just how it goes. The shop isn't huge, but we have enough space for the lights and the backdrop. People come in from the nearby offices or if they live just around the corner in the colony. We keep the counter organized, or we try to at least. It gets messy when there are a lot of memory cards and cables lying around. On hot days, the fan just moves the warm air around, but we stay busy. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. Some shops closed, new ones opened, but we’re still here doing the same thing every morning. We open up, wipe the dust off the glass, and wait for the first person to walk in. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular studio where you can get your photos done without much fuss. We know most of the people who walk past our door. If you’re looking for the spot, it’s easy to find near the main road. We just keep working and making sure the prints look okay.
