Our news office is located at 12 A, on the third floor in Tirloki Colony. We are very close to the DDA Park in Kotlamubarakpur, which is a busy part of South X-1. Being near the park is nice because it gives us a bit of a green view, even though the colony itself is quite crowded. We have been reporting and working from here for a good while. The office is usually full of energy and a bit of a mess, with newspapers scattered around and several televisions always tuned to the news. It is not a very quiet place, as there is always someone talking or typing away. We have some old desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they do the job. Kotlamubarakpur is a lively area with lots of narrow lanes and small shops, so there is always something happening right outside our door. We do not have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just try to keep up with what is going on in the city and share it. It is a lot of hard work and long hours, but we are a tight-knit team and we look out for each other. Sometimes the lift in the building does not work, so we have to take the stairs, but it keeps us fit. We are just a local news outfit trying to do our part in this busy corner of Delhi.
