Metlife

Metlife has an office here at Ta 67A/4 in the Tughlakabad Extension area of New Delhi. It is a place that stays busy with people coming in and out. We handle insurance and financial bits for folks. The office is not very large, but we make the most of the space. We have rows of desks and some filing cabinets that are nearly full. It is a lot of paperwork, which can be a bit boring, but it is important stuff. We spend a lot of time on the phone explaining things to people. The Tughlakabad Extension is a crowded neighborhood, so finding parking can be a real pain. We usually tell people to take the auto-rickshaw if they can. Inside, we have a water cooler and a small table where we keep our bags. We try to keep the place tidy, but with so many documents around, it is a challenge. We know the people who work in the shops nearby. We often go out for a quick bite at the local stalls. It is a down-to-earth kind of place. We do not use a lot of big words or complicated talk. We just try to help people understand their policies. It is a steady job and we have got a good group of people working here. We just show up and do our best every single day.
