Our office is located at 103, 5/6A in Vaishali, right inside the Supertech Residency. It is a decent spot here in Ghaziabad, and being in a residential complex like this means things stay relatively quiet, which is nice for getting work done. Metlife Services East Pvt Ltd. has been running out of this space for some time now. We aren't a big flashy storefront on a main road, so most people who find us already know why they are coming. We deal with various service tasks and administrative work throughout the week. The walls are mostly white and we have the usual computers and files you’d expect to see in any office in U.P. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like, but it keeps us moving. It is a straightforward operation here. We show up, go through the tasks on our desks, and try to make sure everything is handled correctly. There are a few of us working here and we’ve gotten to know the local tea stalls and shops around Vaishali pretty well during our lunch breaks. It’s a normal job in a normal neighborhood. We don’t have any big speeches to give about what we do; we just focus on the paperwork and the clients who need help with their specific service requirements. It feels good to be settled in this part of the city.
