Metlife India

We are located over in Sector-16, Rohini, at F-1/226. It is a typical Delhi spot, very busy and often a bit dusty. This branch of Metlife India has been around for some time now, and we have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit as new shops open up. The office itself is pretty basic. We have the usual desks, some blue chairs for people to sit in while they wait, and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to get a bit full. Working here means dealing with a lot of different people every day. Some people are happy, some are worried about their papers, and we just try to help them out as they come in. The air conditioner is a bit temperamental, so it is either freezing or too warm depending on the day. We do not have any fancy posters on the walls, just the standard stuff we need to show. It is not a corporate headquarters feel at all; it feels more like a local office where you actually know the person sitting behind the desk. We talk about our families and the local traffic while we work. Lunch is usually a shared thing where everyone brings something from home and we sit together. We are not trying to be the flashiest office in Rohini. We just want to make sure the paperwork is correct. It is steady work.
