Our office is in the Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi, specifically at B - 35 in Khirki Extension. It is a bit of a crowded neighborhood with narrow lanes and lots of small businesses tucked away. Bharti Narula is usually the one you will find at the main desk, keeping everything in order. We focus on the Himalayan region, but our daily reality is this office in the city. It’s a modest space with several desks pushed together and maps of the mountains pinned to the walls. We have some storage in the back for equipment, but mostly it is just a place for planning and logistics. The building is nothing special to look at from the outside, but it serves its purpose. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working on the computer to coordinate different trips. It can get a bit noisy with the traffic outside, but we are used to the sound of the city by now. There are a few of us here, and we usually share stories about the outdoors while we work on our spreadsheets. We don't have any corporate slogans or fancy mission statements. We are just a group of people who know a lot about the mountains and use this office to manage the details. It is a very grounded environment where the focus is on getting the job done right rather than how the office looks to outsiders. We keep things simple and honest.
