Mercorriese Restaurant & Bar

We are located over at 938 Bawa Farid Puri in West Patel Nagar. It’s a decent spot, usually pretty busy on the weekends when people are looking for a place to sit down and have a drink. We started this place because we wanted something local where you don't have to dress up too much. The kitchen gets hot and the bar area can get a bit cramped when the evening rush hits, but we manage. Most of the staff live nearby, so they know the regulars by name. We serve food that people actually want to eat, nothing too complicated or strange. Sometimes we run out of certain items if the delivery truck is late, which happens more than we'd like to admit. Managing a restaurant in New Delhi is a bit of a headache with all the paperwork and the heat, but we keep at it. We’ve got a few tables that wobble a bit, and the music might be a little loud depending on who is working the shifts. It’s just a normal place for people to hang out after work or on a Saturday night. We do our own cleaning and stock the shelves ourselves. There isn't any big corporate office telling us what to do. It’s just a group of us trying to make a living and providing a spot for the neighborhood to grab a beer and a meal.
