Mdlr Airlines

Working out of Vikaspuri isn't always easy because the traffic around New Delhi 110018 gets pretty bad in the evenings. Our spot at Dg-Ii 176-A is where most of the daily grind for Mdlr Airlines happens. It is basically just a few desks and a lot of ringing phones. We spend our mornings checking flight schedules and making sure the computers are actually working right. Sometimes the tea guy is late and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. It’s a small office and we have been here for a while now. People walk in off the street asking about tickets to places we don’t even fly to. We just point them in the right direction and get back to our spreadsheets. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we are too busy with the paperwork to really care much about that right now. We handle a lot of the back-end stuff that keeps things moving. It isn't glamorous work at all. It is just about getting things sorted for the passengers. Most of us have worked here long enough that we know everyone’s coffee order by heart. There is always a pile of documents on the corner desk that never seems to get smaller. We just keep at it and try to stay organized in the middle of all the noise from the street outside. It gets a bit hectic when the weather is bad and flights are delayed. We just make do.
