Our place is H.No. 34 in Sector-30, Gurgaon. It’s basically a house that we use for Mdlr Airlines business. Being in a residential sector means it’s a bit different from the big office parks you see elsewhere in the city. There is a small garden out front that someone tries to look after, though the grass usually looks a bit dry. Inside, it’s all office stuff—computers, printers, and a lot of paper. Working out of a house makes the atmosphere a bit more relaxed than a typical corporate building. We don’t wear suits every day unless there is a reason to. Most of us are just sitting at our desks and getting through the lists of things that need doing. Gurgaon traffic is always a topic of conversation around the water cooler. We have a small kitchen where we make our own tea. It’s not a fancy operation with a lobby or a receptionist in a uniform. We just answer the phones and handle the logistics for the airline. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog barks during calls, but people usually understand. It’s a straightforward setup. We don't spend much time on fancy talk; we just focus on the work that's right in front of us. Most of us have been here long enough that it feels like a second home. The day ends when the tasks are finally done and the lights go off.
