This location is right at C-9 in East of Kailash which is one of the well-known spots in New Delhi. I work here as the second assistant manager and the days are usually pretty long and full of activity. This part of the city is always moving so there is never a dull moment at the counter or in the back. We spend a lot of time making sure everything is running the way it should be. It is a lot of checking on supplies and talking to the staff and making sure the floor is clean. It’s not a glamorous job but it keeps us busy. The area around East of Kailash has its own vibe and we see all sorts of people coming through the doors from students to office workers. We don't have a mission statement hanging on the wall that we recite every day. We just focus on the next person in line and the next order that comes up on the screen. The kitchen gets hot and the noise can be a lot during the lunch rush but we just push through it. Being a manager here means you have to be ready for anything to break or any small problem to pop up. It is just a regular job in a busy part of Delhi. We aren't trying to change the world we are just making sure the shift goes smoothly.
