We are based over in Deuli Jarka which is a part of Jajpur in Orissa. It’s been quite a few years since we started Maxxfun Holidays here. The weather can get pretty rough in the summer months but we just keep the fans going and get on with our work. Most of what we do involves sitting at the desks and talking to people about where they want to go for their breaks. We aren’t some big fancy corporation with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a regular office where we handle the bookings and try to make sure the drivers know where they are going. Jajpur is a quiet place compared to the big cities but it keeps us busy enough. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the schedules for the buses and trains. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out like everyone else in the neighborhood. We know the local roads really well and we try to give honest advice about which places are actually worth visiting and which ones are just crowded. It's mostly just three or four of us here most days. We don't have a big sign out front but everyone in the area knows where we are. We just do our thing and try to help folks get their holiday plans sorted without too much fuss or headache for them.
