Max New York Life

Our office is actually inside a house, H No 1503 in Sector 9 of Faridabad. It is a residential neighborhood, so it feels very different from the business districts in Delhi. The 121006 area is mostly families and quiet streets, which makes it a nice place to work without too much chaos. We set up the Max New York Life operations in the front part of the house. You have to walk through a small gate and past some potted plants to get to the front door. Inside, we have a few desks and some chairs for when people come by to talk about their papers. It is very informal here. Sometimes the neighbor’s dog starts barking at the mailman, and we have to pause our conversations for a minute. We do not have a big neon sign, just a small one near the door bell. The rooms are a bit dark because of the way the house is built, so we keep the lights on even during the middle of the day. We have a small cooler for water in the corner and a big pile of forms on the main table. It is mostly just a few of us here, and we know the local area pretty well. Working out of Haryana like this means we do not have to deal with the heavy city traffic as much. It is a simple, honest way to run things, and the neighbors seem to like us.
