Marubeni Corporation

We are tucked away on the second floor of building 166 in Savitri Nagar. It is pretty close to Malviya Nagar, which everyone knows, so it is not too hard to find if you know the area. The building is just a normal one, nothing too special to look at from the outside. You have to walk up the stairs since we are on the second floor. Marubeni Corporation is a big name, but our day-to-day life in this New Delhi office is fairly quiet and steady. We have our computers set up and there is usually some tea or coffee going in the back. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, with local shops nearby and people going about their business. We focus on our tasks and try to stay organized, even when the paperwork starts piling up on the desks. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we have the fans going. We have been in this spot for a bit now and have gotten used to the sounds of the street below. We do not really go for the whole polished corporate look. It is just a place where work gets done. Most of our time is spent on emails and talking to people about various business things. It is practical and straightforward. We like being in Savitri Nagar because it feels like a real community, not just some glass office park where you do not know your neighbors. There are usually a lot of files to go through and the phone rings more than you would expect.
