Mariner Tour & Travel

We are over here at Mariner Tour & Travel in the Kavita Yadav area of Delhi. It is mostly just a few of us sitting at desks and trying to get travel stuff sorted out for people. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking for flight prices or train seats. People walk in and out all day asking about where they should go for a holiday. We usually have a bit of chai while we work through the piles of papers on the desks. It gets pretty loud when everyone is talking at once, but we manage to get things done. Most of the folks who come here live nearby, so we know a lot of them by name. It’s not a fancy place, just a normal office with some maps on the wall and chairs that could probably be a bit more comfortable. We stay open late quite often because that’s when people finish work and come by to pay for their trips. We don't really do anything flashy, we just look up the routes and tell people what's available. Sometimes there are problems with the bookings and we have to call the airlines, which takes forever. But we just keep at it until it's finished. That's pretty much what happens here every day in Delhi.
