You can find us on the ground floor over in Subhash Nagar. It’s a simple spot at 1/212. Manor Travel has been around for a while, and we mostly just help people get their trips sorted. Whether someone needs a train ticket across India or a flight somewhere else, we sit down and look at the schedules for them. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in and ask a question. We aren't a big online portal with robots; we are just real people sitting behind a desk. New Delhi is a busy place to run a travel business because everyone is always going somewhere. We spend a lot of time on the phone with airlines or checking visa requirements. Sometimes the rules change and we have to call everyone back to tell them the news. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of paperwork and waiting on hold. We keep a few brochures around, but mostly it's just us and our computers. We know the local area well, and many of our regulars live just a few streets away. We don't do big ads. We just try to get the bookings right so people don't have trouble when they get to the airport.
