Manmohan Telecom

Located at B-1201 in Mangolpuri, Manmohan Telecom is a small spot that stays pretty busy throughout the week. It is a typical neighborhood shop where the walls are lined with mobile phone covers, chargers, and boxes of screen protectors. The space is a bit cramped because we have to fit a repair desk, some stock, and a place for people to stand all in one room. There is usually the sound of a radio playing in the background or the constant beep of phones being tested. People from around the B-block often drop by not just for phone stuff, but just to say hi or ask about the weather. We spend hours hunched over small circuit boards or trying to peel off old screen guards without making a mess. It’s a lot of fine work that can be tiring on the eyes after a while. The lighting inside is a bit harsh, but it helps us see the small parts we are dealing with. We don't bother with fancy decorations or corporate styling because that's not what the people in Mangolpuri are looking for. They just want their phones to work again. It is a practical place where we keep the doors open from morning until late evening. The air can get a bit stuffy when the shop is full, but we just turn the fan up and keep going. It is a straightforward life running a telecom shop in this part of town, dealing with gadgets all day.
