Malaysian Airlines

You can find us at 11/172 in Geeta Colony. It’s a typical Delhi-31 neighborhood, fairly crowded and always full of life. This is where the Malaysian Airlines local presence happens. We aren’t in a big high-rise; it’s a more grounded setup. The office is tucked away, and we’ve gotten used to the sounds of the street outside. Inside, it’s mostly just us trying to keep up with the tickets and the queries that come in. We have a couple of computers that have seen better days, but they get the job done. Working in Geeta Colony means we see a lot of local families who are planning their travels. It’s a lot of talking and explaining things over and over. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but we just ignore it. We keep a stash of pens that always seem to go missing. It’s a simple way to spend the day, really. We handle the paperwork and try to make sure everything is in order before we send it off. Delhi is a huge place, but this small section is where we do our bit. It doesn't feel like a corporate headquarters, more like a local shop where we happen to deal with international flights. We’ve been here long enough that the postman knows us by name. It gets a little dark in the back of the room, so we keep the desk lamps on most of the day for everyone.
