Makemytrip

Our office is at 925A/8 in Govindpuri, which is part of the Kalkaji area in New Delhi. It is a very busy part of town and we are right in the middle of all the noise and activity. Most of our day is spent at our desks, working on computers to book flights and hotels. We handle a lot of different travel requests for people who walk in or call us up. The office itself is pretty simple and not at all fancy. We have some chairs for people to sit while they wait, and there are always plenty of papers and cables lying around. It can get a bit crowded during the busy seasons when everyone wants to go on holiday at the same time. We’ve been in this New Delhi-19 spot for a long time, so we are familiar with all the neighbors and the local shops. We don't have a big corporate feel here. It’s just us working through the bookings and trying to make sure everything is correct. Sometimes the internet slows down and we have to ask customers to be patient for a minute. We don't do any big promotions or use complicated business talk. We just focus on getting the tickets done and helping people with their travel plans. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
