We are based in Khirki Extension, right in the Malviya Nagar area. It’s a crowded part of New Delhi, but it’s full of life. Our office is at J356. If you’ve ever been to Khirki, you know the lanes are narrow and there’s always something going on. At Make My Trip.Com, this specific branch handles a lot of the local queries and ground-level stuff. It’s not the big headquarters you might imagine. It’s a small, busy space where we deal with travel plans and tickets all day long. The walls are thin, so you can hear the bikes zooming past outside. We have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving because it gets quite stuffy in the summer. We drink a lot of chai from the stall at the corner. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we know the area like the back of our hand. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have much room for fancy displays. We just have our computers and our phones. Sometimes customers come in looking a bit lost, and we help them figure out their itineraries.
