Our office is situated at B/206 in Lajpat Nagar-1, which is a busy part of New Delhi. It’s a pretty easy area to find if you know your way around the markets. Make My Trip.Com has been operating out of this Lajpat Nagar location for a while now. The building itself is older, like most things in this neighborhood, but it serves its purpose. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and people talking on phones or looking at computer screens. It can get a bit hectic during the middle of the day when everyone is trying to sort out their travel plans at once. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or art on the walls. It’s more about getting the job done and making sure the tickets and bookings are correct. The street outside is usually packed with cars and rickshaws, so it takes a bit of patience to reach the front door. We keep the air conditioning running as much as possible because the Delhi heat doesn't mess around. If you come by, you’ll probably see a lot of folders stacked up and some maps pinned to the walls. It’s a straightforward environment without any of the glossy corporate stuff you see in the big glass towers. We’re just a bunch of people working in a crowded part of the city, trying to keep everything moving.
