We are located at 228A/3A in Prakash Mohalla, which is part of the East of Kailash area in New Delhi. It’s a residential-feeling pocket but there is always something going on nearby. Our office isn't one of those big glass towers you see in the movies. It is a practical space where we come every morning to handle the holiday bookings and resort details. We have a few rows of desks and a lot of filing cabinets because we still like to keep things on paper sometimes. The walls are a plain color and we have a small area for making tea and coffee, which keeps us going through the afternoon. It gets quite noisy outside with the local traffic and people going about their business in the mohalla. We spend a lot of time talking to members on the phone, explaining how things work and checking availability for different dates. It is not always easy, but we just take it one call at a time. We are a small group of staff who have been working together for a while now, so we know each other's habits pretty well. There is no corporate polish here; we just speak normally and try to be as helpful as we can. When it rains, we have to make sure the windows are shut tight, and when it’s hot, we just keep the fans on high and keep working.
