M S Tours & Travels

Geeta Colony is a very busy part of Delhi-31. Our shop is located at 11/122. It’s right there on the street level so people can walk in easily. M S Tours & Travels is what the sign says, but the paint is starting to peel off a little bit around the edges. We have a few plastic chairs for people to sit on while they wait for their turn. The main desk is always covered in stacks of papers and maps, though most people just look at everything on their phones these days. It’s a noisy place because of all the rickshaws and motorbikes passing by outside. We have a ceiling fan that rattles quite a bit when it’s turned on high speed. We’ve been here in Geeta Colony for a long time now. Most of the shop owners around here know us. We spend the day talking to people about where they want to travel and booking their tickets. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking different prices on the computer. The floor is just plain grey cement. We have a small fridge in the corner for cold water, which is a real lifesaver during the hot summer months. Sometimes we eat our lunch right at the desk because it gets too busy to take a proper break. We don’t have a website or anything like that. It’s a small family-run operation. We just do our work.
