You can find our office at E-77 on the first floor in Lajpat Nagar-2. It's a busy neighborhood in New Delhi, and there's always something going on right outside our window. We handle the local side of things for the airline. People think it’s all very glamorous because it’s a big name, but our day-to-day is actually quite ordinary. We spend hours on the phone with the airport or typing in passenger details. Sometimes people come in because they are frustrated with a booking or they need to change their travel plans at the last minute. We just sit with them and try to sort it out as best we can. The office isn't very large, so it can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of paperwork piled up. We aren't the ones flying the planes, we just make sure the people get on them. It’s a lot of checking passports and making sure visas are in order. We have a small tea station in the corner that gets a lot of use during the afternoon slump. Most of us have worked here for a while, so we know the systems inside and out. It’s just steady, honest work. We don't put on any acts; we just tell people what the situation is and help them move forward. Lajpat Nagar is a good spot for us because it’s easy for people to reach us.
